Bryce Explains Comics and Lazyness
So yesterday I actually spent all day at work..... working. After work it was 175 degrees out, thus making the loft where my computer is located unbearable hot. So that is why there was no Thursday Haiku Review. I promise next week's post will be twice as good but with the same number of syllables. Now that I've explained myself I have some awesome news to share with all the DCR fans out there! Brian Hall, author extraordinaire, fellow comics critic and owner of Losers Are Made Not Born, will be joining the staff of the Daily Comics Review! Brian will take over comic reviews for Saturdays and possible more duties in the future, so tune in tomorrow and leave him a comment if you like what he has to say! We're very excited to have him on staff!
Least I Could Do 8/14/08
You've always wondered what happened to Gumby after his fantastically successful children's show was canceled? He's been in Vegas drowning his sorrows ever since.
Liberty Meadows 8/15/08
I wont be explaining the bizarre storyline Liberty Meadows has been following the last few week, lets just all hope that it's finally over. Any group called Rimmer's Rangers needs t-shirt and membership cards so they can show off to all their friends.
The Amazing Spider-Man 8/15/08
Not a whole lot to comment on about here, I just feel it's important to document any time there is a bitch slap in the comics, for the benefit of future generations.
Brainwaves 8/15/08
If squirrels could shoot webs out of their asses and poison bite you to death, I wouldn't have to feel so bad every time I see one that got hit by a car. Brake for squirrels!
Overcompensating 8/14/08
If you haven't been paying attention to geopolitical or cryptozoological news the last few days, this comic should apprise you of the current situation for both fields. You're welcome.
Jane's World 8/15/08
YES, YES GOD YES, TAKE THE MUFFIN!!! Nothing says TGIF like cartoon boobies.
