Today is Wednesday. It is of note because the date is 9/9/09 or 9/9/09 for our European readers. This is important because it's the only time this century that the time and the date will be exactly the same. It occurred at 9:09 and 9 seconds this morning.

I fully endorse the "Cash for Comic Strip Clunkers" program. There are far too many old strips polluting our newspaper environment with their inefficient jokes. I wonder what the incentive is to trade in your old strips? Is it pants?

That has to be the lamest hallucination ever regardless of which one is hallucinating.
The drawing also reminds me of a New Yorker cartoon. That's probably what inspired this one.

Non Sequitur is far different from The New Yorker cartoon-wise. Non Sequitur actually can be funny.
Uh, actually, we have three more years where the date and time will be the same.
Next year it'll be on October 10th at 10:10. The next on Novemeber 11 at 11:11, then one more year.
after that, the next century before it starts over with January 1, 2101 at 1:01.
