Kitties and Squirrels

Today is Tuesday. Yesterday was Monday and because is was the first Monday of September it was also Labor Day. Unless you live in a different part of the world. Then it was just Monday.

Anyway, here's some comics to enjoy or at least stare at for awhile.

Kitties are curious. Occasionally their curiosity gets them into trouble with the humans that they cohabitate with.

Ziggy 9/8/09

Today we have learned the terrible secret of Ziggy's existence: that he is a squirrel. I'm not sure how that is possible, but one look at Ziggy and you can tell that he's not a regular human so it kind of makes sense.

Also, Ziggy's ancestors were into sex with squirrels which is weird.

Or maybe he's just a hyperevolved squirrel. But that's not as funny.

Curtis 9/8/09

I don't know what Curtis did, but it must have been pretty bad if his dad's letting the whole experience teach him a lesson instead of hollering and spanking .

When you're parents don't want to verbally or physically abuse you, you know that you fucked up bad.

Wee Pals 9/8/09

While a black man is the President, I wouldn't say that he took it over. That sounds like he staged a coup and killed everyone in the former government.

Which might have been fun to watch actually. Who doesn't love a bloody coup?

Baldo 9/8/09

Ouch. That's something you don't ever want your parents to say for many reasons. Especially your mom. Or Grandma or whoever that old lady is.

Judging from the lunacy coming out of the right-wing of late, their world view corresponds pretty closely with that little black dude in Wee Pals.

Judging from the lunacy coming out of the left-wing of late, their world view corresponds pretty closely with that little black dude in the White House.
