It's a Monday Comic Review! 7/21/08
Mondays suck. We all know this and today the only comics worth commenting on happened to be really great and funny, so this post should brighten everyones day! This comics review business has been growing steadily and the more DCR builds the more features we will add. I have this whole week off so you can expect some minor improvements to the layout and function of our site over the next few days. Happy Monday!
Overcompensating 7/21/08
If you're not a fan of Jeffrey Rowland you probably wont enjoy this post very much as we start and end today with his bad ass web comics. I had a dream catcher growing up and through college but it has since disappeared in to one of the random storage boxes in our apartment. Despite what this comic says I swear my dream catcher worked! I swear I'm not just a typical gullible white guy!
Cul de Sac 7/21/08
Nothing I say can make this comic strip any awesomer.
Mythtickle 7/21/08
Mythtickle seems to vacillate between long storylines with good plots but not a lot of humor and really funny single day gag strips. As long as Justin Thompson keeps doing both styles so well there's nothing to complain about because this switheroo every week or so does a great job of keeping things fresh and sharp.
The New Adventures of Queen Victoria 7/21/08
Every now and then I read a comic that I love but I worry if people who don't read it every day will understand the punchline. The dilemma then arises on how much explanation should be given and if explaining it at all just takes away from the joke in the first place. For todays comic strip lets just say it's referencing a certain famous composer and it's hilarious.
Wigu 7/21/08
Not much to say here except it's you're not reading Wigu already, get over there and catch up!

Hey Bryce, if you like that Queen Victoria strip, you might like Thinkin' Lincoln:
http://www.thinkin-lincoln.com/
It doesn't rely on historical facts as much, but it's still good.
I was actually born on Lincoln's birthday, interesting fact, or not. I'll add it to my que of web comics to check out, thanks!
