The Wide World of Comics 8/25/08
If you're a political junkie like me then the next couple weeks will be full of events that will effect this country for a long time to come. Strangely enough, I am totally OD'ed on politics and I doubt if I will even watch Barack Obama's speech later on. A mind can only take so much saturation with a particular subject before there is no more room and you've got to let it drain out for a while. In order to facilitate that purge I will be taking a nice long vacation from Thursday-Monday to take advantage of the holiday weekend and enjoy the great outdoors. The Daily Comics Review will still keep kicking in some form over that time, with details soon to follow. Thanks readers!
Diesel Sweeties 8/25/08
You may recall Diesel Sweeties recently stopped its daily print run in favour of returning to just the web comic format. Today's strip (or rectangle or whatever) illustrates perfectly why R Stevens chooses the web and it's lack of editorial oversite to push his awesome humor.
Fred Basset 8/25/08
Does it strike anyone else as odd that a dog would sleep over at someone elses house? At first I was hoping the Tucker twins were female dogs, but a comic about a slutty male dog has yet to hit the big time.
Basic Instructions 8/25/08
Don't get me started on alcoholic babies.
The New Adventures of Queen Victoria 8/25/08
Freakin Mondays have a way of sneaking up on you.
Dinosaur Comics 8/25/08
Robots and dinosaurs? Enjoy!

As a parent, i find this edition of Basic Instructions one of the funniest (and truest) things i've seen in a long, long time.
