I've got a case of the Monday Comics 7/7/08

Thank god Comic Mondays are great days for comics and thus balance out the crappiness that is returning to work after a 3 day weekend. We have a plethora of comic strips today so lets hit the ground running!


Moderately Confused 7/7/08

The "fist bump" wasn't invented by the Obama family and in fact it's not even called a fist bump. It is called a "pound" and the kids have been doing it for a while now. In college my buddies and I would use it as a greeting or a congratulations. Now that the media has latched on to this thing and treated it as new I am feeling way too ahead of the curve for a dumb white kid who runs a crappy comic blog that has already been done before.


Family Tree 7/7/08

A blu-ray disk? What are you going to do with that without a PS3 or a blu-ray disk player? How about the monster cables to hook it all up and a surround sound system to boot? The cable company doesn't sell TVs and you look like a total freaking moron when you try to make a joke about not understanding technology and you can't even make the brainy kid talk about it correctly.

I will pay Jack Elrod one thousand dollars if he will change whatever lame ending he has planned for this story-line to instead feature Kelly Welly being mauled to death by a mountain lion as Moss Green chuckles to himself about posting the video on you-tube.
