R.I.P. Steve Jobs

Sad day today with Steve Jobs' passing. Celebrity deaths don't usually phase me, but Jobs wasn't just a celebrity or famous person, he affected our lives in a very appreciable, tangible way. He will be missed.

Because I don't feel like being too snarky right now (and because of my horrible lateness in posting), I'm going to keep the comics review short today.

The Born Loser

I know those are supposed to be freckles or something, but that little girl looks like she has stubble.

F minus

This one made me chuckle. The disappointed look on the coach is priceless; his best motivational tactic just got wrecked by a bunch of smart-ass kids.

Monty

Is it just me or is Monty noticeably fatter than he used to be?

Wizard of Id
Wizard of Id
This made me sad because it reminded me that Steve Jobs had pancreatic cancer. :(

I was kind of hoping to find comics that just happened to mention Jobs today so that I could post them, but alas I couldn't find any. Rudy Park, the mostly likely candidate for a good Jobs reference, had nary a mention.

Now we wait a couple weeks to see the comics world's tribute to Steve Jobs. Oh well. If you want immediacy, read webcomics.
