One After 666

The previous post was the 666th post. Not even a passing reference to the number of the Beast or heavy metal or anything. I am very disappointed. Anyway, here's my two cents about some comics or something.

I don't keep up with this strip nearly as much as I should (it's a good strip) so I have no idea if Western Santa (not to be confused with Cowboy Santa) is just using colorful descriptors, or if this Chico de Gallow person is, actually, a shape-shifting vampire. Which is odd, as most all vampires are shape-shifters to some degree. Can this specific vampire change into other things, if vampire he be? Color me intrigued.

A walk-in toaster is Silver Age evil scientist fodder. In fact, I can't think of it being used for anything other than trying to toast up superheroes and and secret agents.

Girls and Sports

Well, I can't find anything else I really want to comment on, so back to the Girls and Sports well. The girl's pose in the third panel is just bizarre. I get what he was trying to go for, but really, it just looks like she's sitting on an invisible chair. I can vouch for the right field thing, though. Nothing ever happens out there.
