Oops. It's Friday.

Hey, did you know it was Friday? Between sickness and all that, I sure didn't! Hence no reviews for yesterday. Here's some today, though! Aren't you glad? Also, be sure to check out the Meekrat Entertainment Group and whatnot!

Popeye, 5/7/10

I guess Popeye relinquished his leadership of Spinachovia. He should probably watch his back, then.

F Minus and Brevity, 5/7/10

I realize they're just a comic strips and I shouldn't really think about them too hard, but I found myself staring at these two for several minutes while trying to figure out how the electric slide worked, and how Beakwoman was an effective super-hero. Does she have other super-powers, or just the beak? In that case, I suppose the beak would help her in hand-to-hand combat and the like, somehow. As for the electric slide... I have no idea. It just can't be pleasant.

Luann, 5/7/10

Luann really wants him to think about her singing in the shower. At least show some subtlety, Luann. I'm sure that eventually you'll find a guy who fantasizes about you in the shower.

Grand Avenue, 5/7/10

It's from Latin, and I don't remember exactly what it means, but it has something to do with books. Obviously. Just like "history" is actually a gender-neutral word, but people just pay attention to the first syllable and assume things.

The Electric Slide was/is a dance; I think that's the joke in F Minus.

Since I've been to a wedding, I know that the Electric Slide is a dance. However, they show an electric thing hooked up to a slide. So I'm forced to wonder what the purpose of the device is.

I figured it was an electromagnetic accelerator. You put on a pair of pants loaded with iron filings, climb up to the top, turn it on, and WHAM! you reach the bottom going 200 MPH.
