Happenings Going On

There are a couple of comics I just have to point out at the bottom of the post but first some bad comics.

Wee Pals 2/1/10

God I hate Wee Pals. You need witnesses to get into the Guinness Book of Records, you just can't call them up and say "I broke a record, put me in your book".

Gaah! Idiots.

Zits 2/1/10

Jeremy's mom is very repressed. Nearly all songs anymore have some form of bad word in them also, if you're paying money to download a song then you must like it and know that it includes bad words.

When I was younger, like in junior high or something. I was over at a friend's house and we were watching "The Color Purple" and it was at the beginning where two characters are having sex (I believe) and my friend's mom asked "What's going on? Does she have a headache?" It was so hard for me to not say "they're having sex" because I was afraid her head would explode.

Call me crazy but I would love to get a job in a cemetery.

Real Life Adventures 2/1/10

Believe it or not but I was considered overqualified for working at a gas station. I just wanted some extra money but I was working at a big government contractor place at the time so the hiring guy was like, "I think you're overqualified". I just wanted some extra money.

Blondie 2/1/10

Holy shit!
Did Dagwood's barber just cut off the hair he's had since he was introduced sometime prior to 1933? I wonder if this will be the start of a storyline or change in character design or if it will be a one-off thing designed to get in a joke in.

Also, methinks that barber just lost his tip.

Amazing Spider-Man 2/1/10

Why does Spider-Man needs to warn other superheroes about his impending vacation? According to my research the Marvel Universe New York City consists of not only the Fantastic Four but also, Captain America, Ghost Rider, Nick Fury, Luke Cage, Daredevil and Iron Fist plus possibly more that haven't had that category added to their Wikipedia entry so I don't think Spider-Man's absence will really be noticed except by J. Jonah Jameson.
