This is one of subtlest jokes I've seen. I think most people that aren't English majors will miss it.

The last panel was subtle, but this one shouts the joke at you.
That's one reason I like The Last Kiss, it isn't afraid to put the punchline right in front of you. I'm not sure how it manages to get bestiality jokes past an editor though.
