Eyes are the Window to Your Soul

There is nothing quite like over-evaluating a meager 2 strips because they were the worst you could find for the day. Enjoy, as much time is wasted on things that really are not worth all the analysis.

There sure is a lot to say here. These people have the biggest headboard on a bed I have ever seen. The Wife Libido-Meter is an excellent idea, but wouldn't mounting that on your bed cause your kids to ask all sorts of questions you don't want to answer? They wont ever make one of these for husbands. One little sliver would say "no" and the rest of the sections would just be various versions of "OH GOD YEAH".

Can't follow dialog, coloration too distracting. Neckerchief McHighBangs has one white pupil and one brown pupil. It's not like the colors run anywhere else on the strip. The curtain colors don't bleed on to the window or vice-versa, but when it comes to color the eyes it's like the artist replaced his fine tip brush with his thumb. Mary Worth - the only strip that gets worse when you add color.

evil-moustache seems to have differently colored eyes as well. maybe the colorist got mixed up and forgot which character had which color, so he just gave them each two colors.

At least the first one is humorous. The Mary Worth is just nonsense. Isn't the point of a comic strip to have a zinger at some point? Even when it's serious... right?

And if they hadn't been talking about credit cards, I would never have known they had them. This comic is still drawn in the 70's, they're just replacing the dialog. I'm sure of it.
