Daily Comics for the World 6/17/08
Keeping you up to date on the comic strip news is one area I would like to increase our content so today I'm reporting on a new artist for the strip Working Daze. New artists always make me dislike the comic for a while until I get used to the new style. When characters you are attached to suddenly start looking different it takes some getting used to. The previous art style was more rigid, where as the new artist Kyle Miller seems to be going with a lighter, wavier comic. We'll keep you posted to any other changes in the future!
Diesel Sweeties Web Comic 6/17/08
The Weezer Blue Album was one of the most influential CDs in my life in middle school/early high school. I can still listen to it any time and enjoy it all the way through. I haven't heard anything they have done since the Green Album and I'm not really a fan any more. I kind of subscribe to the idea that if you go 7 years without putting out a good CD (sorry Pinkerton fans) you can't expect me to keep waiting. Who knows though, maybe there's a new "Sweater Song" on the Red Album.
Crankshaft 6/17/08
Wow Crankshaft! You've proven that stupid Family Circus jokes don't get any better when an old cranky asshole is using them. Why would the Keane Bros. let the FC kids grow up if they'd still not be funny? Those guys know more about comic strips than they have let on all these years.
Days of Thunder 6/17/08
As often as I don't get Days of thunder, it's still one of the best comic strips thanks to the edgy, off-beat humor. Posting this comic was my patriotic duty for the day.
