Holy delusion, Batman!
Freshly Squeezed:
Oops, looks like Mom's crazy. She's talking to herself and/or inanimate objects and she's delusional. This is no a good sign. I thought it was the old folks that were supposed to be the crazy ones.
Kit and Carlyle:
I tried and failed to find the "rule" in this panel. All I see is a hope. The rule could be "Cats ought never to make a living as babysitters," but that's not what's stated here. Perhaps the rule is to carefully think out your options before choosing a career path. Either way, it will be a difficult rule for me to follow, seeing as I can't figure out what it is.
Bliss:
Thus, Ace the Bat-hound was born.

Kit and Carlyle makes no sense on any level.
To say you "make a living" at something means that you make enough money doing it to live on.
So what the cat is saying is, that he hopes he doesn't get paid well for babysitting.
Meanwhile, a kid is dragging him by the tail.
I suppose what the author really means to say is "I hope I never become a professional babysitter", but even that makes little sense. If you don't want to be a babysitter, then don't. Besides, you are a cat.
How come you took away anonymous comments? Now I have to log in to stuff :(
They'll be back tomorrow I am thinking, we just got bombarded by a Canadian loan shark spam-bot so I had to turn of anon till they stop.
