Learnin'
It's me again, folks and folkettes. Check out Meekrat Entertainment Group, and here's your commentary, where you may learn things.
Love Is
Another installment of passive-aggressive "Love Is". Just go line dancing, okay?
B. C.
When I started the Amazing Spider-Blog, I had another one going called B. C. (Before Comedy/Blasted Cavemen) which, as you might guess, had to do with B. C. Considering how, in those days, it was still done by Hart, it was the most terrible thing. Most days, it was just a caveman standing there with words above them. I did notice a few interesting things, though. One of them was that, each year on this day, they'd celebrate the Queen Ant's birthday. Only on December 3rd. I have no idea why this is, but there you go.
Wizard of Id
I never expected to see an RPG joke in this strip, ever. Another odd note: did you know they tried to make a "Wizard of Id" show featuring Muppets? It's true.
Mandrake the Magician
Vampire don't melt in water, Mandrake. That's witches, and not even all witches. I think only the Wicked Witch of the West melted in water. Now, if that was a holy water shower, you might be on to something, but even then he'd burn, not really melt. That's my only problem with this installment of the strip.
Spider-Man
It figures that the most exciting storyline this strip has had in a while has absolutely nothing to do with Spider-Man, really. It's mainly Aunt May's story, with an appearance by the thing. I really hope they let Aunt May stick around with the Mole Man, but I doubt it. That'd upset the cherished status quo too much.

According to Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B.C._%28comic_strip%29 today is Johnny Hart's wife's birthday. I enjoyed the other things Wikipedia said about the queen ant, and likening them to how Johnny sees his wife.
