Hey everyone! Zachary the Stupid Inventor here again with this Wednesday's comic review!
I didn't have much to complain about this week, so we have mostly funny strips, but first some bad nitpicks....
The Bad:
Speed Bump: I really don't think a few surcharges and fees makes much difference when you have THREE WISHES! You just wish for a trillion dollars and problem solved.... you even see the pile of gold in the corner!
Reality Check: Both bad strips today are examples as to why I'm not such a fan of gag-a-day strips, I think the original idea of "Invisible Man Goes Shopping" is funny, but the execution of product names that would work with the gag are very weak at best....
The Good:
Pears Before Swine: This looks like it could be an awesome storyline, I just think Stephan Pastis could have drawn a better Alex Trebec...
Arctic Circle: If I was a penguin, I would totally do this! I watch too many cartoons...
Daddy's Home: I too, own "Good Underwear".... I don't feel bad because they actually make and sell an "Underwear Repair Kit" for men.... seriously, google it!
Sally Forth: Ted Forth is one of the best nerds on the comic page today, in my opinion at least.... and I've yet to find a girl who finds knowing the English Speed Racer theme song charming, let alone the Japanese one...
Pickles: I seriously think the cartoonist of this strip just gets a pair of binoculars and watches my grandparents for ideas....
