100 Degrees! The comics are melting...

Hey everyone!
Zachary, the Stupid Inventor, back with my weekly Wednesday comic review.
I don't know if this heat is getting to me, but today's comics just seemed rather blah to me... nothing too great and nothing too bad. Here's the Good, the Bad and the Weird that I was able to find:

The Bad:

Hi and Louis: If my brother tried making this joke to me, I would think it was stupid and lame... so to see it in a syndicated comic strip is just embarrassing! I think a lot of cartoonists are on vacation now, and these are the strips they rushed to get ahead of their deadline... just my theory!

Six Chix: Really? a turtle/snail joke!?!?! Wow....

The Weird:

Moose and Molly: Can someone explain this to me? I really just don't understand the punchline. I mean I realize the joke is that he wants a lot of stuff on his sandwhich but the last sentence doesn't make sense to me...

Bizarro: This comic is hilarious (the weird section can have both good or bad strips in it, just as long as they are weird..), but it's just so utterly bizarre... in other words, a classic Bizzaro strip.

The Good:
My Cage: This strip is great because I can just picture the frustrated struggling cartoonist writing it... :D

The Pajama Diaries: I really like this strip and how it uses the subtle visual so well in it's joke. You really need to be a great artist to pull this off. Plus it rings so true, at least when I was dorming...

Anyways, that's it for this week's comic review, hopefully next Wednesday there will be more for me to talk about... until then!

Is Jane Goodall not wearing a shirt? And why does that chimp have such a lascivious expression on his face?

@Rocketdave Wow, that's a whole new angle I didn't quite see in that strip... it probably belongs in the Weird section then!

@Ed Power- Awkward, lol, great strip Ed!
And I'm struggling to even make it to the level of struggling cartoonist in the Washington Post Contest... wish me luck!
:D
