Corporate Shill

Another Sunday is upon which means you are stuck with me for the day. Yes, I know. I hear you cry. But you know what's good on a Sunday? Tony's Crispy Crust Brand Pizza. You should go out and get yourself a couple. The pizza is made in my neck of the woods in Kansas--only in Salina and distributed by the good pizza at Schwan's (the door-to-door food people).

But you didn't come here to hear me yammer about Tony's Crispy Crust Brand Pizza, you came here for comics.

Scary Gary 3/14/10

Vampires were hot until "Twilight" ruined it all. Leopold's face in the last panel reminds me of some of the faces of my classmates as we were going through puberty. It was a sad time for all.

Soup to Nutz 03/14/10

Do any of you remember being told that if you click a pen a thousand times you'd be able to fly. I swear someone told that to me before. And just to correct it, it's 50,000 times, not a thousand.

Flo & Friends 03/14/10

Uh, I know we say this a lot here at the DCR but...what's so funny about this? I am assuming--and basically meeting the comic more than halfway--that he's talking about "still having it" but forgetting to dry off. Is that right? If so, do I win a prize?

Luann 3/14/10

Yep, those freshmen, they are just so innocent and in way over their head and...OH MY GOD!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH THEIR HEADS??!! BURN THEM! BURN THEM AND SEND THEM TO HELL!!

The Doozies 3/14/10

There's a lot of people I went to high school with that I hope I'm doing better than. I know I don't have the most perfect life but at least I'm happy.

And now, here are a couple comics that actually made me laugh. Of course, I love seeing babies being stolen by birds.

In the Sticks 3/14/10

The Argyle Sweater 3/14/10

I'm guessing that the guy is in so much pain that he can't scream...

I think on the "Flo and Friends" the joke is that the mirror is covered in steam so he really can't see himself. BTW, in the Luann, am I the only one who sees a huge-headed Brad in the background?

Thanks, I enjoy reading the DCR.

PS, will all of Kansas be excited with both KU and KSU as high seeds in the NCAA BBall tournament?

I told him he should have mentioned selection Sunday, but no. And yes, most of Kansas will be excited by both of our teams making it to the tournament.
