Hey Hey Hey Hey HEEEEEEYYYYYYY.......

Well hello! As I learned yesterday just like the rest of you, we no longer have a comic reviewer for Monday/Tuesday (sad face, great job getting a.... job, you loser) so looks like I will be filling in until I find another sucker... uh.. willing participant, who would like to write for the best comic review group blog on the internet. You get to pimp any of your own work as much as you want and you also get access to basically every comic strip currently in syndication. Email us at dailycomicsreview@gmail.com if you're interested!

Extra Life

Scott Johnson is a busy man. He makes about 500 podcasts a week and still finds time to make some bitchin web comics. His recent Big Foot Diaries looks great, reads great, and makes you feel all warm and tingly inside in a legal way. Not that he needs love from the DCR, I'm just hoping to get on one of his podcasts. Do I have something on my nose?

3D Glasses

This is the first web comic I have seen that's done in some sort of 3d modeling program and it makes me wonder what other cartoonists who use high-tech pen and paper analogs think about it. It's new and seems to be finding it's own voice and humor. I have to be honest and say the first month or two of reading it was painful, but now that the creator has some content under his belt and it is steadily improving.

Overcompensating

Jeffrey Roland is fucking killing it. The last could of weeks of Overcompensating may be the best continuous streak of any web comic I have ever read. Head over there and just read back until you stop laughing, then wonder where your whole day went.

Byron Pinkleton

Can you tell I've been reading lots of web comics lately? Byron Pinkleton is a visually distinctive comic with a decidedly adult subject matter. While the dick-to-boob ratio is tilted a little too far in the wrong direction for my taste (leaning slightly to the left), there are enough jokes and cleavage - not to mention outstanding artwork, to keep me reading every Monday.
