Hello! Sorry it's so late.
Hope your Saturday has been as lazy as mine, which is why it is 3:45 and not like 8am.
When I offered to help out, I asked the dictator/proprietor Bryce to tell me what comics to talk about.
Great.
Only he didn't tell me the names of the comics, just sent me a page with the images!
Oh, by the way, introductions introductions!
My name is Kaitlyn, I have a last name but it's not really your business. Plus I think I forgot it. (Internet anonymity gets to you.)
I run the blog Plug It Up, and have since April 1, 2007. Only over the last few months have people started commenting. Talk about ego rush. So I'm spreading the largess. Plus I'm a lazy college student.
You should totally go to my blog and comment there, but only AFTER commenting here.
Onto the comics!
I'm a little nervous, because these were described as comics Bryce liked, and well, on my blog, Plug It Up, (subtle) I attack Pluggers for sucking worse than a clogged vacuum. So I really don't know what I'm doing here.
F Minus from December 12:
Ok, so I liked this one too. I love me some F Minus. The stern little faces, never exactly angry, just stern. I wonder why the speech balloon is so big. The understatement is perfect. I wonder what else he wanted to say.
Ok, that sucked. Like I've said a million times, I have a thousand things to say about a terrible work, and one thing to say about a great one. ("That's awesome!") Maybe the next one will be better.
Mother Goose and Grimm from December 11:
I normally like MG&G, which puts me in a minority in the online comics world, but this one was just meh. The line is so damn old (isn't it? time kinda blends for me, but I'm pretty sure it's been at least 2-3 weeks since that kid was tazed!) This may have been funny a couple months ago, but now, it shows all the reaction time of Mallard Fillmore. Which is sad.
That was better.
Luann from December 8:
I've always had a soft spot for Luann, and I want Toni and Brad to hook up over Christmas, dammit. This is kinda cute, but after how long? I mostly watched Friends reruns on FOX at 10 or 11, so I did not experience the years of Ross and Rachel, and comics years blend together, so I don't know how long they've been doing this, but surely they're old enough to do the only thing mainstream print comics will allow them to do - get married. Just do it already!
The other 3 he sent me are webcomics, and I debated talking about them, but I'm really hungry.
Maybe later.
I hope this didn't break the blog.
I had fun and I hope you did!

According to Stephan Pastis (Pearls Before Swine), when you see a big word balloon with not many words in it, the writer originally had something else in there that he/she had to change for the syndicate.
