Slutty Mantis
I could find about zero comics worth commenting on, so here's two that come close to being worth commenting on but fall rather short.
Boffo, 4/8/10
This one is from the Houston Chronicle's page. It's not in the multitude of emails the Daily Comics Review gets each and every single day. It's a stupid comic. I'm sure a lot of people who are fans of "Star Trek" also get fashion, but I'm even more sure that not a single one of them would admonish someone for spending so much on a hat, despite it not having warp drive. At least, I think they're talking about the hat. A Trekkie would know that a hat wouldn't have warp drive. Also, are there really hats that cost $1,400? That's sort of really messed up. Why would you spend that much for a hat? Unless it had precious gems and metals, in which case I could see someone doing that.
Piranha Club, 4/8/10
I just like the non-punchline at the end here. There's just something about how matter of fact the headless fly is talking about how the mantis ate his head. How is he talking? No idea. Also, considering how mantises only bite the heads off of their mates after mating (unless that's a myth), that mantis is a slut.
