Post Snowstorm Friday Funnies

Happy Friday, all.  Another New England snowstorm burying me under a foot plus of snow.  Now that I'm done spending the day shoveling, hopefully some laughs can assuage the sore back of heavy, wet snow removal. Gonna be short and sweet tonight.

Adam@Home by Brian Basset:

I'm hoping that Adam's novel is some serious,Jonathan Swift-style biting satire aimed at the government and both major parties for their inability to resolve the sequestration budget issues that are about to derail any little positive movement in the job market.  Next week, I'm hoping he's on the run from Democratic and Republican Hit Squads out to get him after he self publishes his novel online and promotes it via his caffeine-fueled podcasts which goes viral and make him an online celebrity and he gets featured on Good Morning America hidden behind a screen with voice-altering tech at a hidden location and one of the kids walks in and turns on the lights and the Democratic and Republican Hit Squads leap into action.

Ziggy by Tom Wilson & Tom II:
Is Ziggy in a relationship with these birds? What about his parrot back home? Is he seeing these birds behind his/her back?  Ziggy should be thinking, "I'll bring you to a restaurant: Cornish Game Hens on special."  But, no, Zig-man is just gonna go home and cry himself to sleep like he does every night.

Arlo and Janis by Jimmy Johnson:

Arlo and Janis is one of those comics that I enjoy just about every day.  Something about it resonates with me and I relate to it (as compared to say, Pluggers).  Maybe it's where I am in life, or maybe Jimmy Johnson is funny and we both like cats.  I just put this here because I'm sure my wife will read it and think "That's EXACTLY what my hubby would do".
