Big conference this week. Freaking out over preparing my talk, so here are some quick hits.

Yes, we're still talking about the excitement of kite flying. Tune in Labor Day weekend, when someone will excuse themselves to get another cup of iced tea.

Generally speaking, Rex Morgan is only slightly less of a snooze than Mary Worth. (Sort of like comparing watching sunflowers grow instead of grass.) But the occasional mildly interesting panel by Graham Nolan and little signs of life like the name "Holland Dikes" keep it on my comics page.
