Stormy Weather

We're supposed to get a huge storm over here in the NYC area. In other news: water is wet, rocks are made of a very durable and hard material, and the sun sets in the west.

Rip Haywire, 2/1/11

I want to like Rip Haywire. I like the artwork and concept but sometimes it seems to lag, which is part of the adventure strip game I guess. The "Snootful of Wintergreen Binaca" made me laugh out loud today.

Pearls Before Swine, 2/1/11

A couple of weeks ago (maybe while Pastis was doing this strip?) the rumor that Cookie Monster doesn't eat cookies hit Facebook, at least in the circles I travel. Turns out it's bogus.

Over The Hedge, 2/1/2011

Over the Hedge seems like another strip that I ought to like, but I think it gets a little repetitive with "look at the weird stuff the squirrel does." Today made me laugh, though. The drawing of where to put the tail is really well done.
