Stupid Inventor Gets Engaged, Reviews Comics

Hey everyone, Zachary the Stupid Inventor here with this weeks comic review!
I actually just got engaged last Friday, so things have been pretty hectic after I proposed:



So this weeks review is a little short, let's get to it, shall we?

The Bad
Chuckle Bros: I've mentioned before how this strip must be sold in strip or panel format, because there's always extra room in the strip. Other strips manage to do it without it being too noticeable, but Chuckle Bros. has not mastered that at all. But the real reason this strip is in the bad section is because they did such a bad job of making the customer's mug, the main gag of the strip, noticeable to the reader. Seriously, the should have redrawn the strip from a different angle... they should be ashamed.


Nitpick
Heart Of The City: I get that Mark Tatulli is off and that they are re-running strips, and there's nothing wrong with that, cartoonists deserve a break! But what bothers me is that nobody bothered altering the text to say 2011 instead of 2008. It just ruins the joke. Either edit the old strip or choose other strips to recycle....

The Good
Ink Pen: I'm a huge Captain Marvel/Shazam fan, so this strip made me laugh... and it's so true! Shazam!
The Doozies: Awww, the lonely life of a time-traveler....
The Argyle Sweater: I'm posting this strip to point out no the main joke, but the awesome name of the Reindeer's salon! I love it when cartoonists manage to sneak in an extra joke into their strip, great job!
